Album of Martha Ann Kirkpatrick Grier, daughter of Hugh Kirpatrick. She was the wife, from 1856, of Robert Leroy Grier, a Presbyterian minister who served parishes in Tennessee and Mississippi, 1860-1881. The album contains messages, 1853-1859, from friends in North Carolina and Tennessee, especially students at Mount Carmel Academy, Tenn; relatives; and her husband. Copies of a recipe and a poem are enclosed.
